spider drama

Today I was at my friend's house and they have this fake carton of eggs but when I opened the carton there was a tarantula looking spider in one of the slots!!!!I thought I had saw it move so I called my friend over."Sledge,there is a spider in here!"
My friend came over."Oh its ok its dead,"I looked at him."But I thought I saw it move,""Its dead,see."Before warning me he took his finger and touched the spider's hairy leg.The spider leapt from the carton on to the wall and hid behind a cabinet `.
"See I told you it was alive!""Ok,I admit you were right"he said sighing then laughing.
